• Treasure Island 25th Anniversary Fire Rescue 9/11 Memorial Walk

    Freedom Boat Club, 12765 Kingfish Dr / Treasure Island side of John’s Pass

  The walk will start precisely at 8:46 am (time of North Tower attack).

  This will be a 3.43 mile walk representing the 343 firefighters lives lost that day…this walk is on Gulf Blvd, so no shade to speak of.

  Following the event, there will be a post-event celebration at Caddy’s Treasure Island, 9000 W. Gulf Blvd., Treasure Island

  TBBCA ATTIRE:

  *Red TBBCA tank tops with white sports bra underneath;

  *Bottoms of your choice in white or denim (trying to keep it in festive colors);

  *Your most comfortable WALKING shoes…you will be walking on the hot street. Also feel free to wear a hat or visor as well…again, it’s going to be hot.

  Cindy is looking into getting small American flags to carry.

  There will be a “Pre-Walk Event” on Thursday evening at Caddy’s (see address above) from 6:00-9:00 pm…it’s a free event…for anyone who’s interested in attending that.

• City of Treasure Island Veterans Day Parade

  The parade staging area is at this location.  The parade itself goes through the main streets of Treasure Island.  There will be a post-parade celebration at the VFW Post, with food, drinks and live band.
